The closest bus stop is ‘Gornji trg’ for bus numbers 2, 3, 11 and 20.

How to get from ‘Pošta’ bus stop to Škuc Gallery at 21 Stari trg :

When exiting the bus, turn left, then take the first street on the right (Čopova Street) and follow it down to Prešeren Square. The whole journey on foot from the bus stop to Škuc Gallery is through a pedestrian zone, so we advise walking in the middle of the street.

Čopova Street is paved with concrete slabs, while Prešeren Square is cobbled.

From the Square, continue straight on over the Three Bridges which cross the Ljubljanica River. The middle bridge is the widest and has cobbles, while the side bridges are narrower and covered with asphalt.
After the bridge, continue straight on along Stritarjeva Street, walking on the right-hand side of the cobbled street, or pavement covered with slabs, which is a few centimetres higher. The obstacles on the pavement are street lights, litter bins by the buildings, and stands in front of shops and bars/restaurants. We advise you to walk on the right side of the street along the pavement, which can provide a sense of direction. The street narrows towards the end.
In front of the Town Hall and Robba Fountain, where the pavement turns right into Mestni trg street, you also turn right and continue along the street. The street is wide. On the left-hand side are obstacles in the form of outdoor tables and chairs in front of bars. On the pavement on the right-hand side, the obstacles are benches, bicycle stands, bicycles, signboards in front of inns and shops. In the road, beside the pavement, there are gratings and manhole covers. At the end, the street narrows.
Mestni trg ends when the pavement turns right to the Cobblers' or Shoemakers' Bridge (‘Šuštarski most’ or ‘Čevljarski’ most’). The path continues straight on Stari trg street. In the middle of the cobbled street, there is an increasing number of seating in front of the bars and inns
Stari trg ends at a fountain. Before the fountain, Škuc Gallery is at 21 Stari trg, on the left. Before the fountain, on the right side of the street there are tables and chairs in front of a cake shop. Turn left before the outdoor seating, cross the street and you find yourself in front of the door of the Škuc Gallery information corner. There is no threshold, but there is a step on the inside.
There are two entrances to Škuc Gallery. To the left of the information corner doors is another door which leads directly to the gallery over a concrete threshold and a step.
